Architecture Talks is a series on the intersection of theory, society and design presented by DAR in collaboration with Architecture Academy Amsterdam.
Across the course of eight weeks, we invited experts in architecture and design offering fresh perspectives and critical conversations on changing values and ecosystems. The talks went beyond architecture, built beyond bricks to grow new ecologies.
Architecture Talks invited Yassine Salihine, Sename Koffi, Tosin Oshinowo, Ameneh Solati, Marga Weimand, Pierre-Christophe Gam, Ali T. As’ad and Hassanain to the conversation.
The series looked at how architecture relates to wider social and cultural questions. It considered how spaces are shaped not only by design, but also by politics, memory, technology, and collective experience.
Architecture Talks highlighted practices that move across disciplines and scales, from material experimentation to speculative futures. By connecting different contexts and approaches, it opened up conversations on how we imagine and build new environments.
